Ecosystem Intelligence: Methods, Data and Examples

How to combine external signals, relational structure and organizational context without collapsing them into a conventional market report.

OPERATING DEFINITION

What we mean when we use this term.

Ecosystem intelligence combines environmental sensing, relational mapping and organizational inquiry. Unlike business intelligence, its primary object is not an internal metric. Unlike conventional market intelligence, its unit of analysis is not only the market. It follows actors, relationships, flows, signals, evidence and strategic questions across organizational boundaries.

LIMITATIONS

What this approach does not promise.

Ecosystem intelligence does not eliminate uncertainty. Its value is to make the structure of uncertainty more visible, traceable and discussable across teams.
