WHAT THIS ARTIFACT DEMONSTRATES

Why complex ecosystems cannot always be reduced to pairwise graphs. A trade relation can simultaneously involve place, product, country, time and external signals, and should remain one higher-order relation.

METHOD
  1. Identify the relational event
  2. Represent every participating entity in the same hyperedge
  3. Attach flow, value and temporal attributes
  4. Attach relevant PESTEL signals
  5. Compare the same structure from signal, municipality and geographic views
