METIS

A real-time monitoring engine over 500+ feeds and 65+ providers, customised for a Brazilian strategic picture: maritime, ports, clusters, energy, commodities, resilience and AI-synthesised briefs.

  1. Problem

Monitoring produces noise. Analysts need a situational picture that correlates streams, flags convergence and explains itself, and that distinguishes what people are talking about from what is changing.

  2. Capability
  3. Architecture

TypeScript SPA with dual map engines (3D globe and WebGL flat map, 56 layer types), Edge Functions and a relay for seeding, Redis four-layer cache with freshness metadata, protobuf contracts for 35 services, and an MCP server exposing tools to agents. Variants (full, tech, finance, commodity, energy) select panel sets and themes. AI summarisation runs a four-tier chain with a hallucination validator in enforce mode; classification, entity extraction and cross-source correlation run as services and in-browser workers.

  4. Demonstrator
  5. Business impact
    • A monitoring surface that correlates rather than lists
    • Briefs with a validator between the model and the reader
    • Agent-accessible intelligence via MCP
